Had the most amazing relaxing break. Very dog friendly, we can't wait to return with more of our family. So glad we found you. We stayed in the yurt and had everything we needed, hoping to take over the paddock or even field next time. Hot tub great and the views are lovely x

We visited this place in August 2023, what a lovely host Stephen. This was our very first camping experience and we throughly loved it. Had some very good friendly neighbours. Kids enjoyed the river stream and did some net fishing.
Please be aware that this is non commercialised camp site and ideal for experienced campers. Though this was our first experience and we throughly enjoyed it.

Stayed in Evelyn , it was so nice and cozy and had everything you needed!! Very comfy bed, lovely inside log burner. Amazing outdoor hottub bath fueled by wood burner. Nice kitchenette with fridge and counter top cooker. Make sure to bring torches or lights for the toilet on a night! Such a lovely location, right next to the river and a stream, falling asleep to the sound of the water was bliss. We enjoyed it so much have booked again. Friendly and very helpful hosts! Great value and quiet location. Love how you get given logs for your first night for both hot tub and the log burner inside the caravan.

Back at Drybeck Farm for a second time, this time round in the Herdwick Shepherds Wagon. Absolutely loved our 4 nights there as did our dog. Fabulous comfy bed with the cutest little log burner aswell as our own kitchen, toilet, shower and wood fired hot tub right on the river whats not to love! Loved watching the pheasants stroll by and listening to the Tawny owls late at night from our hot tub. Steve as always is extremely helpful, polite and welcoming as is his daughter. Thankyou Drybeck for the adventure, see you next year....😁
Walkability: Very accessible from the car over a small foot bridge not too far at all

Just spontaneously booked a few nights in the yurt, I was looking for both hot tub and fishing opportunities without the shoddiness of a lot of other sites that offer one or the other and this one ticked all the boxes for us. A great camping experience without the hassle of bringing your own bedding, pots and pans and setting up a tent - and the extra warmth with wood burners. Nice quiet location and accommodation is well spread out so you have plenty of your own space. The decor is lovely and authentic. The facility had all the kitchen supplies you could need. Owner was very attentive to any problems we had and everything was well thought out and organised. I always dread campsite toilet and shower facilities but I was surprised to find each accommodation has their own, and they were very clean and maintained with no smell at all despite being a compost toilet!
Really enjoyed our stay and had a very relaxed weekend. Will be back 😊

Had a lovely relaxing stay at Drybeck Farm. We stayed in Evelyn, such a quaint little caravan although could be a little claustrophobic for some due to the bed being so high up, not leaving much roof space. The set up is perfectly …
